TRS Urid Dal - 1kg

TRS Urid Dal (Black Gram) is a black lentil with a white interior. When split and skinned, it becomes white urad dal. It's used to make dal makhani (with kidney beans), and in South Indian cuisine for idli and dosa batters. It becomes very creamy when cooked.

How to use:

For dal makhani, soak whole black urad dal overnight. Simmer with kidney beans, butter, and cream for hours.
