Our story began in 2019 at the Thomas a Kempisstraat 53 in Zwolle, where the first generation of our family founded our very first store. We started with a clear mission: to fill a gap in the region. At the time, finding genuine, high-quality Pakistani and Indian groceries in this part of the Netherlands was incredibly difficult. With our Pakistani roots, we knew exactly what our community was missing, what ingredients were truly authentic, and how to source them.
Though unexpected personal circumstances forced us to close our physical doors in Zwolle, our passion for our heritage and our bond with the community never faded. Behind the scenes, we always stayed closely connected with our regular guests, dreaming of the day we could officially bring the authentic tastes of home back to the region on a larger scale.
Today, Safeer Asian Foods has evolved into a modern, eco-conscious online business run proudly by the family.
While our roots started in Zwolle, we have expanded our presence to make our services even more accessible.
We now operate across three central hubs in the region: Ommen, Hardenberg, and Sibculo.
