Annam Rice Flour - 500g

Annam Rice Flour is a finely ground, gluten-free flour made from raw rice. It's essential in South Indian and Sri Lankan cooking for dishes like appam (rice pancakes), puttu (steamed rice cakes), idiyappam (string hoppers), and also used in Pakistani and Hindustani sweets and snacks. It can also be used as a coating for fried foods to make them extra crispy. This 500g pack is perfect for occasional cooking.

How to use: For appam, mix rice flour with coconut milk and a little yeast. For puttu, layer with grated coconut and steam. For crispy pakoras, mix a little rice flour with gram flour (besan).
