TRS Bajri Flour is made from pearl millet (bajra), a gluten-free grain. It's traditionally used in the winters in North India and Pakistan to make bajra roti (flatbread), which is eaten with jaggery (gurr) or green chilies and yogurt. Bajra is warm and high in fiber, making it perfect for cold weather. This 1kg pack is great for trying. TRS is a trusted brand for flours and spices.
How to use (serves 4): Mix 2 cups bajri flour with warm water and a pinch of salt. Knead into a soft dough. It may be more crumbly than wheat dough. Pat into flat discs (rather than rolling) with wet hands. Cook on a hot tawa and then over an open flame to puff. Serve warm with butter or ghee.
