Shan Lahori Fish masala is for making the famous fish fry from the city of Lahore, Pakistan. The fish is marinated in a tangy, spicy batter (often with gram flour and spices), then deep-fried until crispy. It's served with chutney and onions, usually as a starter or with naan.
Quick recipe (serves 4):
1. Marinate 500g firm white fish fillets (cod, haddock) with Shan Lahori Fish masala, 2 tbsp gram flour (besan), 1 tbsp lemon juice, and 1 egg.
2. Leave for 30 minutes.
3. Deep fry until golden and crispy.
4. Serve with mint chutney, sliced onions, and lemon wedges.
