Shan Bihari Kabab

Shan Bihari Kabab masala is for making the legendary Bihari kebab – so named because it originated in the Bihar region of India, but now beloved across Pakistan. These kebabs are made from very thin slices of beef, marinated for hours with papaya to tenderize, then grilled. They are incredibly tender and flavorful.

Quick recipe (serves 4-6):

1. Marinate 500g thinly sliced beef (undercut) with Shan Bihari Kabab masala, papaya paste (or tenderizer), fried onions, and 2 tbsp oil.

2. Leave for 4-6 hours or overnight in the fridge.

3. Thread onto skewers and grill over charcoal or in the oven. Serve with naan and mint chutney.
