Narpa Linseeds (Alsi) are small brown seeds packed with omega-3 fatty acids, fiber, and lignans. In South Asian cooking, they are dry roasted and ground into a powder (alsi ka atta) used in chapatis or mixed with jaggery for a health tonic.
How to use:
Roast 2 tablespoons lightly in a dry pan. Grind to a powder. Add to atta dough for rotis, or mix with jaggery and warm water. Take 1-2 teaspoons daily.
