Ambala Pesi Jaggery (Gurr) is made by boiling sugarcane juice until it solidifies. It contains molasses and minerals like iron and magnesium. Add a small piece to masala chai or doodh pati. Use in place of sugar in kheer, halwa, and even some curries.
How to use:
Add a 2cm piece of jaggery to your tea while boiling for naturally sweet chai. Serves 1.
